What is education?

Whenever we talk about the degrees and practical performance of the graduates of schools, colleges and these institutions, our casual educationists of today arrogantly say that such and such a person is educated but he lacks training.
I find it very strange that people who understand and know education may not say this because training is an integral part of what is called education, without training, education is incomplete.
Any work in the world is considered incomplete without its practical form, the knowledge that we impart to children in schools and colleges is literacy
To develop the ability to write, read and count, the purpose of literacy is to make children aware of what happened in the past and to make them think about the achievements of the future.
Literacy is an excellent auxiliary component of education, but not essential. He was a great thinker and thinker, probably a matric but he was so educated that no one can deny his knowledge, but many scholars are guided by his life, his actions and his books.
Rabindranath Tagorejas from Bengal has been called the best man of the last century by the world, he never went to school but he was the best poet, philosopher, writer, actor, songwriter, story writer, musician, director and very educated. Edison, who gave the world 1500 inventions including light bulb, movie camera and telex, never went to school, but he was very well educated.
They were also not familiar with the school or the educational institution at all.
What is education? It is a need to know and understand. Education is actually a way of life.
Speaking well, saying well, talking and listening well, avoiding vanity, getting up decently, sitting down, eating, drinking, being a good person, Being a good citizen, these are all qualities of this lifestyle that prove you are educated. This cry, this and that lifestyle do not need any degree. , learn from their neighbors, their neighbors, their loved ones and society
If you have good people among your friends, you will learn well and be called educated. If you don't have good people around you, your every step will lead to the wrong path and you will be considered ignorant, even if you have piles of paper degrees. One more thing to remember is that when you see something and immediately think what it is, why it is, how it is, then this curiosity proves that you have an education. Seekers, want to achieve it.
The main purpose of education is to inculcate in you the sense and desire to learn. Education does not produce literate and educated people, but readers, people who seek education, education creates a society in which father, son and grandson interact. Together we learn and teach each other.
People have no idea how much tenderness, affection, love and compassion is hidden in the child's soul. The purpose of education is to find this hidden treasure. The main purpose of education is to give a good way of life by exposing the mental abilities of the child, acquaint him with the realities of the world and give him practical training.
It is to enable him to think, understand and come to a conclusion. It is to enlighten the knowledge of the past and inform research about the knowledge of the future.
The sole aim of the school is to enable the child to achieve good results by bringing out the latent powers hidden in his mind. After all these things, I will say this much

1. Education is a process that gives us knowledge, skill.

2. Education is a process that improves our intelligence.

Educating a child is the joint responsibility of his parents, society and the government. Better education of children is very important for establishing a good and welfare society and we all have to strive for it.

How important is education in life?

The process of learning and teaching knowledge has been going on for centuries. We find the names of many Muslim scientists prominent in Taykh, who are recognized all over the world, among them Muhammad bin Musa Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, Omar Khayyam, Al-Biruni, Ibn Khaldun and Ibn Al-Haytham are worth mentioning. Education covers the whole system of life, as well as helps in creating awareness in the society and in the good upbringing of children. The progress of any country can be measured by its literacy rate. Last year, the Federal Ministry of Education released a 10-year report on literacy rate, according to which Pakistan is better than only Afghanistan among 9 countries in the region. The report stated that the literacy rate in Pakistan is 57%.

Generally, religious and secular education are seen separately.
However, both have their own importance. Apart from the system of education prevalent in our Madrasahs, the second system of education also has two standards. One is seen in government schools and the other in private schools.
The quality of education in government schools is so decrepit that there are no qualified teachers and no higher education curriculum, age-old curriculum is still being taught to children while other basic facilities are also lacking.
This is the reason why those who do not have status, they are also in the quest to educate their children in private schools, even if they have to cut their stomachs for it.
On the other hand, two types of curriculum are taught in private schools, one is under the provincial education system and the other is under the Cambridge system.
If we talk about the level of Sindh, the books of Sindh Textbook Board are still being taught here which were being taught many decades ago.
In such a situation, parents prefer to educate their children under the Cambridge system so that their child can learn something.
A child initially receives education from home, which forms its foundation.
The child is then admitted to school, where he completes primary level education starting from kindergarten or nursery to fifth grade. Primary education is very important for any child's personality and consciousness.
Children at this age are very curious. Therefore, their curiosity should be encouraged and guided.
In this era of globalization and competition, everyone is trying to outdo each other. Today in science and technology, a lot of work is being done on artificial intelligence, biometrics, machine learning automation, food sciences and other technical education. In order to succeed in professional life, students should study outside the traditional fields in a field that has future demand and wide employment opportunities.
Many local universities are also offering such bachelors and masters programs while online courses from reputed foreign universities are also available (many courses are offered free of charge).
A person's first education is the mother's lap and its training forms the basis of a child's good character.
A child spends most of his time with his mother and borrows mannerisms, habits and interests from her. The mother teaches the child to distinguish between good and bad and right from wrong.
Due to mental retardation, the education of girls has been considered as a handicap in our society, however, the situation has improved in the last few years and now people have realized that it is very important for a woman to be educated and knowledgeable.
Every human being (whether male or female) has many potentials that need to be harnessed.
Educated girls also have the responsibility to try to benefit their home and society after getting education. Today the world is moving forward very fast, whoever does not keep up with it, is left behind. In such a situation, there is a need to speed up the process of reforms in the field of education so that not only the quality of education in the country improves but also the literacy rate increases.
